Modern Driver Institute’s Mike Mercadante competed in a charity road rally event organized by the Philadelphia Region of the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) on December 6, 2014.  Anthony Yeager was co-driver and navigator.

The course included about two and a half hours of driving on rural roads in Bucks and Northampton counties at night with a heavy rain falling.  The object of a road rally is to finish as close as possible to the course time and mileage.

The team ran the event in the training car, a 2008 Volvo s40, and finished second in class.  For more information about rally racing, visit the SCCA website.
